Affiliated Women Intltm

Empowering Women WorldWide - One Neighborhood at a Time!

Affiliated Women Intltm is a community for women coming together to enrich, encourage and empower one another!

Who we are.....

Welcome to the CONNECTION STATION, the virtual community of Affiliated Women Intl(tm) (AWI)! Our vision is to "empower women worldwide". The mission is to enrich, encourage, & equip women in a manner that leads to empowerment. The STATION is where women from all over the globe connect, share stories, questions, concerns, triumphs, build significant friendships & achieve their passion, purpose & ultimate goals - together. We are a dynamic, growing Community and would love for you to join us!

AWI is both online here at the STATION and FACE 2 FACE! The AWI "ConnectWorking(tm)" format makes it easy & comfortable for women to build significant friendships with other women using a permission-based referral marketing approach. The best, warmest & most qualified referrals come from those who know, like & trust us! AWI "NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORKS" provide an environment for women to build mutually beneficial friendships based on honesty, integrity & trust. It's a unique approach! And women who seriously encounter, engage & embrace the model LOVE it.

Currently, AWI F2F NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORKS operate in INDIANAPOLIS, IN. & TULSA, OK. Soon, AWI will be in OKLAHOMA CITY, OK; OMAHA, NE; NEW YORK CITY & CHARLOTTE, NC. And we'll be adding the MYSTERY CITY. A city nominated by women who want us in their locale!

Want to know more? Interested in having AWI in your community? Send us an email to linda@awomensplace.org or jana@affiliatedwomen.com. We'll be happy to share this exciting opportunity for women! Look forward to hearing from YOU soon!

Much love in your days. . . . Linda S. Fitzgerald, CEO-CVO

Hi Karen, Actually my strategy is to get them to just listen. Some will take action but I really just want to build up the listening audience. Change starts with awareness first, then desire builds. Overtime if the listeners find it valuable they'll…

LADIES, WE ARE IN NEED OF YOUR HELP......

AWI is seeking Envoys for national expansion. Ideal candidates will be motivators who think outside the box and have a desire to educate and equip others in order to aid in personal growth and professional success. Important skills include demonstrated leadership, team building and people management abilities. Well connected women with interests in coaching, training and mentoring who possess the ability to be a catalyst for others and those with upper-level, direct sales leadership experience are encouraged to inquire. This position is perfect for computer/internet savvy women who enjoy facilitating growth and are looking for a role that will complement their current career. Envoys will begin as independent contractors and escalate to team licensure. The role of Envoy has significant income potential for the ideal candidates. Please share this opportunity with all qualified women you know. Interested parties should forward a letter of interest outlining their experience and relevant information to Linda@awomensplace.org and anita@affiliatedwomen.com. If you have any questions or thoughts about Envoy candidates, please feel free to contact either or both of us.

Thanks in advance for your assistance and input in this vital keystone to the growth of AWI!

Women's Thursday Thoughts - Challenges. . .

Life without them wouldn't hold much excitement. Challenges that is. If we didn't encounter them along the way, life would be very bland. For I believe that challenges are what make us strong. They cause us to think deeply and dig into the wisdom we rarely recognize we have. Without them, we wouldn't grow to maturity, nor would we develop the character each of us desires.

As I look at the challenges ahead for Anita and me as we seek to spread AWI across the nation via dynamic women with… Continue

To Speak or Not to Speak, THAT is the Question

I have been a little quiet on the social media side the past few days, working on my new website. I've actually missed all my online discussions and decided it was time for me to speak up:)! I'll be brief since the water is just calling on this hot day:)

I've been pondering a quote I heard last week on #TMIS. Either the host (Melanie Yost) or the speaker (Kelly O'Neil) repeated this. "We don't have to eat everything we see and we don't have to say everything we think".

I have to… Continue

Living Your Dreams - 8 Words to Success

Last week I spoke to a group of 6th – 12th graders. They were attending a one week college preparation course offered by the Charlotte Housing Authority called Raising
The Bar
. I speak to a lot of
executives and leaders and there’s no harder crowd than 50 pre-teen and
teenagers at 4:30 p.m. on a day where the temperature is hovering around 98
degrees. Talk about a tough crowd!

As a speaker, you don’t always know when you

Women's Monday Moment - Movin' On Up!

Remember the show starring the Jefferson's? The story line was about them moving from one side of NYC to the upper East Side. "Movin' On Up" was the theme song. As life flowed, they went from semi--squalor to what some of us would call opulence (well sort of).

Today, friend and I are moving on to Charlotte, NC for a Tweet Up tomorrow evening at the Renaissance Hotel on the south side of the city. Meeting fellow STATION member Denise Cooper and hopefully more of Charlotte's finest. So ag… Continue

Affiliated Women TESTIMONIAL!

AWI has a "culture". Sara coined that word for us on Thursday & it is an absolute 'fit'. And our culture helps women move from the world of "traditional networking" to a world where women are women "beyond the business card"! Thanks to Sara for pointing this out to us!
